Helping Corktown Families in Need
We have recently found out about a family group that needs our help. They are facing bankruptcy due to job loss and they have all moved in with their grandmother because the heating system in their home is broken.
We are a small group with few financial resources, and we realize we are not able to fix heating systems with the resources that we have access to at this time.
Partnering with the good people at His Church Anglican in Livonia, we are working to purchase Christmas gifts and needed items for the seven family members. We ask that you consider chipping in to help this family as well. Needed items include winter clothing for 4 school-aged children and 3 adults, as well as groceries and any home goods like heating blankets, etc. Anything contributed through this "Christmas Outreach" Chipin will go directly to the family during this Advent and Christmas season.
